11 Days fishing tour to Ssese and Murchison

Day 1
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by a smiling Africa Pride Guide transfer you to your hotel and give you a briefing about you safari. Overnight at Entebbe Resort Beach Hotel or Sophie's Motel. BB

Day 2
Transfer to Ssese Islands on L. Victoria by taking a ferry. You will arrive in the evening and check in at Ssese Islands Club where we shall have our dinner and overnight stay. FB

Day 3 & 4
Spend these days on L. Victoria and its neighboring Island fishing with 2 over night stays and dinner at Ssese Island Club. FB

Day 5
After breakfast catch your morning ferry to Kampala arriving in the early afternoon where we shall have an optional learning Kampala by taking a city tour after our lunch.

Day 6
Depart for Murchison Falls national park through the famous Luwero Triangle with a stop over in Masindi for lunch. Proceed to the base of Murchison falls time allowing and given your willingness, we shall have an evening fishing for three hours. A relative level of fitness will be required as the decent is relatively steep. In the dramatic pools below the legendary waterfall we will be targeting the large Nile Perch which can be caught in these waters and it weighsover 100 Kilos. Over night at Paraa Safari Lodge or Sambiya River Lodge. FB

Day 7
This morning you will fish the river Nile by boat below the world renowned Murchison falls for the Nile perch and other species several of which can be taken on a fly including the Awaka a small tiger and the Ungara. You will spend the whole day fishing from the boat and the shore. The boat trip is also excellent for game viewing as you will be fishing in one of the best game areas on the Nile which can prove very exciting at times. Over night at Paraa Safari Lodge or Sambiya River Lodge. FB

Day 8
Today we will fish the big pools below the falls with lures, live bait and flies for the large perch. Again there are other species that can provide excellent sport. We will take a picnic and plenty of cold drinks and spend the day on these magnificent pools. Over night at Paraa Safari Lodge or Sambiya River Lodge. FB

Day 9
After breakfast, Proceed to the top of the Falls where you can see the Nile's beauty perfected! Marvel at the Nile, compressing from 50 meters squeezed through a 6- meter canyon dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar, creating a beautiful plume of spray. Drive back to Kampala. Overnight at Entebbe Resort Beach Hotel or Sophie’s Motel. BB

Day 10
Departure, come again and tour with Africa Pride.
