SIMPLE SAVANNAH BIRDING IN UGANDA TOUR

Day 1.
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by Africa Pride Guide who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival and departure formalities. Transfer to your hotel for a briefing about your safari. Early arrivals will bird around Entebbe area. O/n at Entebbe Botanical Resort Beach or Sophie's Motel. BB

Day 2.
Whole day birding around the Botanical Gardens for a variety of Sun birds, Weavers, king fishers and other water birds, time allowing bird Lutembe Beach for Black Herons and a variety of Terns, Gulls and others (this depends on season). O/n at Entebbe Botanical Resort Beach or Sophie's Motel. BB

Day 3.
Morning drive to Mabamba swamp for the globally threatened Shoe bill stork, Allen’s and Purple Gallinule, African and Lesser Jacanas plus other water birds then proceed to Lake Mburo for lunch and birding en-route. 2 O/n stays at Mantana Luxury Tented Camp or Rwonyo Rest Camp. FB

Day 4.
Morning birding coupled with a game drive, bird the grassland for the Brown-chested Plover (this is there between June and December), Red-faced Barbet here we shall have the chance to see the Zebra, Eland, Topis, Impalas and some other game then an afternoon boat ride in search for the African Fin foot. Day 5
Drive to Queen Elizabeth NP, arriving in time for lunch then proceed for a unique launch cruise along the Kazinga channel expect Hippos, Crocodiles, water birds like the African Spoonbill, Pin Tailed Whydah African skimmer (seasonal), kingfishers, weavers and much more. Dinner and 2 O/n stays at Mweya or Jacana Safari Lodge. FB

Day 6
Whole day birding in search for Savanna birds like the Temminck's Courser, Martial Eagle, Rupell's Griffon Vulture Red Throated and Scaly Francolins, Long claws, Larks, Wattled Starling, Shrikes and many others, afternoon bird the crater area.

Day 7
After breakfast drive back to Kampala, end of tour birding enroute with a stop over for lunch in Mbarara town depending on the time of departure we either continue to the air port to catch up with your flight or have Dinner and over night stay at Sheraton or Africana Hotel.
