Day 1
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by Africa Pride cheery
Guide who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities.
After transferring to your hotel you will be given a briefing about your
safari. You are advised to have money changed this day. To get to know
Kampala, you can visit some of the landmarks in town with the help of
our driver/guide. Overnight at Serena or Africana Hotel. BB
Day 2
After early morning breakfast drive northwest through the famous Luwero
Triangle and Masindi Town to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in
time for lunch. In the afternoon visit the top of the Falls where you
can see the Nile’s beauty perfected! Marvel at the Nile, compressing
from up to one km squeezed through a 7-metre canyon dropping 150 metres
with a thunderous roar, creating a beautiful rainbow. Marvel at ‘The
Murchison Falls’ and enjoy the sunset as you return to the lodge.

Day 3
Early morning game drive on the northern bank. Expect to spot elephant,
lion if lucky, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck,
oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if extremely lucky, the leopard.
After lunch, go for a launch cruise upstream the calm Victoria Nile to
the bottom of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the ‘Devil’s
Cauldron’, marvel at the pleasurable hippos, crocodiles and over
the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This
is also the zone of many bird species like the goliath heron, Egyptian
goose, pelican, bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare
shoebill stork. After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls,
return to Paraa Lodge or Nile Safari Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
All day drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through the countryside and
pass traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal rests in the shadow
of the fabled ‘Mountains of the Moon’. The drive takes approximately
8 hours. Dinner and overnight at Ataco Country Resort or Rwenzori View
Guest House. FB
Day 5
Depart early after breakfast for the hot springs and cap the day in the
pygmy villages located near the Ituri Rainforest. The visit to the villages
has proven to be an interesting cultural experience. The guide will have
lunch arranged for you to be served as a picnic while you experience the
"real Africa". Afternoon transfer to Fort Portal and arrive
this evening at Ataco Country Resort or Rwenzori View Guest House for
dinner and overnight. FB
Day 6
After breakfast we visit Kibale Forest National Park, with the greatest
variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Enjoy a
guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees,
red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and many others. After
lunch we explore the Crater Lake region, which has many crater lakes.
Later, sit back and relax as you let a traditional dancing group entertain
you. Dinner and overnight at Ataco Country Resort or Rwenzori View Guest

Day 7
Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori
Mountain Range. With a game drive enroute coupled with luck, w shall be
able to view lion and leopard; we shall also be able to see the elephant,
buffalo, hyena and a variety of antelope species. Enjoy the unique 2-hour
boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel connecting the George and Edward lakes.
This launch passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos
and some crocodiles in the park and it also offers an excellent platform
for photography, bird watching with many migratory species and game viewing.
The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550
resident species. Dinner and overnight at Jacana or Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 8
Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-system of grassy plains,
tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to
an incredible abundance of wildlife. Have an early morning Game drive
where you have an opportunity to view the massive Rwenzori as backdrop,
which provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest
hog, cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck.
These two game drives and the boat trip (taken prior) are memorable experience
which let you discover a vast array of Ugandan wildlife. After stretching
our legs, we visit the bat cave and hunters cave where we take a close
look at the bats, rock python and forest cobras. The same walk will provide
a chance of seeing birds, primates, tree species etc. Dinner and overnight
at Jacana or Mweya Safari Lodge. FB
Day 9
Drive through the ‘Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi
Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi through
the Ishasha sector where you will have an opportunity to see the tree
climbing lions. Dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Forest Camp or Lake
Kitandara tented camp. FB
Day 10
Early morning entry into the gorilla sanctuary which is spectacular afro
montane/rainforest. It offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and
is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing
access to tourists. Mammals recorded include the endangered Mt. Gorilla,
rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black-fronted duiker, bushbuck,
leopard, giant forest hog and others. This park is best known for the
fascinating gorillas. The time taken and the terrain varies according
to the movements of the marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time
and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure.
The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience
to watch and photograph them as they interact. Dinner and overnight stay
at Gorilla Forest Camp or Lake Kitandara tented camp. FB
Day 11
As an option, participants can have a guided nature walk in Bwindi and
choose from one of the 5 trails or the New Village trail. After a rigorous
day at Bwindi, most clients will welcome some relaxing moments on the
shores of this peaceful lake. The options here are birding, cycling, swimming
or canoeing. Dinner and overnight at Bushara Island Camp. FB
Day 12
After breakfast, we proceed for morning excursions on lake Bunyonyi and
the surrounding islands then later we drive to Lake Mburo National Park.
A game drive enroute to Mantana might enable us see the zebras, topis,
elephants, elands, impalas, buffaloes etc. Dinner and overnight at Mantana
luxury tented camp or Rwonyo Resr Camp. FB
Day 13
After an early morning breakfast, we shall have a game drive as we prepare
to transfer to Kampala, then to Jinja where we shall have our dinner and
overnight at Nile Resort Jinja.
Day 14
City tour (depending on flight time) and departure
Today we shall have to visit places including the Bujagali Falls, the
Source of the Mighty Nile and a number of fishing villages. After this
we transfer to Kampala for partial city tour and time allowing we shall
go for shopping then later taken to the airport for your flight back home.
